Revelation Chapter 4

The 7 churches that John is writing to were faced with:  false apostles (2:2), compromising false believers(2:6), economic opression which caused abject poverty (2:9), prison (2:10), death (2:10), religious minority status (2:13), compromising Chrisitians in their churches(2:14,15), exclusion from trade unions unless willing to practice pagan worship and sexual immorality  (2:20), the threat that tribulation was coming (3:10), the promise that the New Jerusalem was coming (3:12), the threat and the promise that Christ was returning (2:16, 3:11).

How?
